What not to do when eating breakfast:

A recent CBS article was talking about a recent study coming out showing that skipping breakfast in “healthy overweight” (unless you’re a professional athlete, you’re not a “healthy overweight” individual) and obese people. The results: skipping breakfast didn’t have an impact. What bugs me about the articles advice – it states, breakfast is ALWAYS important in the long run (correct there) but,

Because of breakfast’s potential nutritional value, Ayoob recommends always eating it, whether you want to lose weight or not, even if it is just “cereal, milk, and a banana,” which only takes a few minutes.

Cereal, milk, and a banana is not a sound strategy for breakfast. End of story. You’ll be binge eating by 11am. People need fulfilling calories – protein and fat. Nobody needs that many carbohydrates for breakfast without any protein or fat.
