Working with a registered nurse provides the patient with someone legally able to provide health education. Unlike other holistic professions such as a dietitian or a nutritionist, nurses have extensive training in the pathophysiology behind many chronic diseases – and yes, nurses can give nutrition advice!
My experience lies within working with patients who are looking for corrective exercise, exericse regimen planning, sports nutrition consulting, patients with congestive heart failure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, rhabdomyolysis recovery, renal disease and other various common health issues.
When working with a registered nurse, you get someone who has more than just a nutrition certificate from some random school – you get someone with experience with disease pathophysiology and experience developing hollistic plans of care that are specific to the patient.
Sometimes a person needs help navigating the health care system, understanding the disease process, and helping to plan a diet that is special to their specific symptoms or health issues.
I am here to not only guide you but to help you feel and look better. If you’re still not sure if I might be a good fit for you, sign up for a free fifteen minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit for each other.
