One of the ways I cut down on my carbohydrate intake while still being able to build a filling and hearty meal is by using my Veggetti. For me, spiralized zucchini is such a great substitute for pasta. It’s an easy way to get your vegetables as well as keep full. This list is a great starting point for those who haven’t tried their own vegetable pasta yet.

Five Great and Affordable Vegetable Spiralizers

1. The Veggetti

The Veggetti Spiralizer is the one I own. By no means is this vegetable spiralizer the most heavy duty on the market, it’s probably one of the cheapest. Also, if I’m being honest, you can almost never go wrong with something that says, “As Seen On TV” on the product packaging (internet sarcasm).   Now, I personally love The Veggetti spiralizer. It’s incredibly easy to use, easy to wash, and durable for my standards. It’s also got an incredible price. But as you can see, some people complain that the kitchen tool is a little difficult to handle, wash, or even that you could cut the skin of your knuckles if you’re not too careful. Still, it’s a great introductory product and like I said, I love mine.

2. The Veggetti Pro

I’m a little partial to the Veggetti products as it is – this is their upgraded model, and still quite affordable. The reviews on this product are substantially better than the regular Veggetti. The higher reviews aren’t without reason. The Veggetti Pro is more durable, comes with three different blades, and is far more user friendly. The Veggetti Pro also works on vegetables better than just zucchini such as:  squash, carrots, cucumbers, and potatoes.

3. Premium V  Slicer

The Premium Vegetable Slicer is probably the biggest competitor to The Veggetti brand. It’s actually the Amazon Choice and one of Amazon’s Best Seller’s when it comes to vegetable slicers. This product is equal in price to The Veggetti but the reviews are about half a star better and with more units sold as well. The Premium V Slicer is handheld, made of Japanese blades, and is touted to work on carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, squash, radish, potatoes, and more.

4. The Spiralizer

Getting out of the more basic spiralizers, the next step up would be the hand crank spiralizers. One of the best selling items would be the Five Blade Vegetable Slicer by Spiralizer. This brand caters specifically to the keto, low carb, vegan, and Paleo community. This vegetable spiralizer rests comfortably on the counter-top, is made of high grade stainless steel blades, and BPA free ABS material. One of the awesome things is that this item comes with three different recipe books to help keep you from getting bored of food. Another perk: The Spiralizer offers lifetime replacement – they’ll replace anything during the lifetime of the product.

5. Mueller Spiralizer

Competitive to The Spiralizer is Muller’s Spiral Ultra-Professional Spiralizer. This is another Amazon Best Seller when it comes to vegetable slicers. The Mueller Spiralizer comes with four different stainless steel blades, a four cup container, a citrus juicer, and a recipe e-book. The blades are 420 grade German steel. This product has a nearly perfect five stars and is touted as one of the best vegetable spiralizers on the market.

There you go. There are quite a few vegetable spiralizers on the market but these are some of the best selling items on Amazon. Do you have another brand not listed? Let me know and I’ll add it to the list!
